Hi Hashers

Over the years most hashers have begun to take the support that we receive from our

Hash House, the Aero Clube,

for granted. Many hashers are not yet members, and many of those who are members have taken little interest in the Club beyond buying tickets in the bar. If this applies to you, please take a moment to consider what benefits we hashers gain from the Club's acceptance of us as a group, and where we would be without its continued support. The Club is not just our Saturday Hash venue, but also our Wednesday night meeting place where we eat, drink and socialise, getting to know our fellow hashers and others, without any of the formalities usually associated with a private members club.

This happy relationship can only continue if we do our part. Becoming members of the Club is easy and incredibly cheap, and all except the most short term or inactive hashers should make the effort to join. Those who arealready members should check with Manica that their subs are up to date and should then excersise fully their right and duty as members by attending and voting at the Annual General Meeting. By this small effort once a year you have the chance to support those Club Committee members who do so much to support the hash group throughout the rest of the year.

This year's AGM has been adjourned until next month (February), giving time for any hashers who haven't yet got their membership up-to-date to get it sorted out in time. If you have not joined, or have any other doubts what to do, just ask me or Chuck Spears, or any one of the other members around the bar on Wednesday.

The exact day and time of the AGM will be publicised at the Club, and I look forward to seeing you there, clutching your little blue membership card and ready to participate!
